Wembley sister killings: Man arrested over deaths | UK Information
A person has been arrested over the deaths of two sisters who have been discovered stabbed in a park in Wembley, north London.
The 18-year-old, who was arrested at an deal with in south London, is being held on suspicion of each murders.
Bibaa Henry, 46, and Nicole Smallman, 27, have been killed within the early hours of Saturday 6 June after a night out celebrating Bibaa’s birthday with others on the park.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Harding mentioned: “Given the importance of this growth, we visited the household in individual immediately to tell them of the arrest. Our ideas stay with them at this very tough time.
“A group of forensic officers have been a continuing presence on the park over the previous couple of weeks finishing up meticulous fingertip searches at what’s an enormous and sophisticated crime scene. While that work has now concluded, smaller searches in outer areas of the park will proceed.
“So far officers have recovered greater than 1,000 displays – together with property belonging to each Nicole and Bibaa, collected hours of CCTV and visited a whole bunch of houses and companies.
“I’d proceed to enchantment to the general public to come back ahead with any info they really feel could also be related to our investigation.”
